CMA Cautions Packaging Limited for delayed disclosure

The Capital Market Authority has issued a disciplinary decision against Packaging Limited SAOG cautioning the company not to repeat breaching the provisions of Article 280 of the Executive Regulation of the Capital Market Law (ERCML) which provides that the issuer shall disclose the annual unaudited financial results immediately after preparation, within the period indicated in Article 279 of the ERCML.

 

The move comes as part of CMA’s endeavors to protect the rights of investors and achieving fairness for all market participants in obtaining  the information on the financial position of the company which assist them in taking sound investment decision. The decisions urged all listed companies  to comply with the disclosure rules on quarterly statement and material information.
