CMA Organize 13th Training programme on Talent Management

 

The Capital Market Authority organizes this week the 13th Training Programme for national employees of the insurance sector on Talent Management as part of the training plan for 2016 to acquaint the national employees with the required skills and technical knowledge to manage the work competently.

 

Talent management is one of the basics of human resources management and the best way to invest their capabilities  each according to their tendencies . Talent exploration is the key  and main tool of human resources management to assume their functions by attracting and selecting employees.

 

The programme aims at acquainting the participants with scientific and practical  diameters for exploring and discovering the talents and to know inactive talents toprovide them with the required methods for talent development and improving.

 

It is noteworthy that CMA organized in 2015  16 training programmes with the participation of 400 employees working for the insurance sector. 13 programmes were organized this year with the participation of 370 Omani youth working for insurance companies,  brokers and agents in various aspects relating to development of technical skills, leadership, commerce, accounting and risk management beside specialized programmes in insurance, claim management and underwriting.

 

Published statistics of the insurance market  for 2015 indicate the number of employees in the insurance sector in 2015 was 2525  including 1679 Omani employees at 66% of the total employees. In 2014 the number of employees was 2353 including 1536 Omanis representing 65% of the total employees of the sector
