The Capital Market Authority organized a training program titled ”Compliance, Corporate Governance and Risk Management” in collaboration with the Association of Arab Securities Commissions yesterday at the Sundus Rotana Hotel Muscat and continues until Tuesday under the patronage of Mohammed Said Al- Abri, Vice President for Capital Market and attended by HE Jalil Tarif, Secretary Genera of the Association of Arab Securities Commissions.
The programs aims to acquaint the participants with the concepts of compliance, corporate governance and risk management, and the role of the regulators and supervisors of capital markets.
The program highlighted a number of relevant issues from the point of view of the regulator.
The program targeted employees of capital market institutions especially the workers of surveillance, disclosure, listing and enforcement departments and the employees of stock exchanges, the depository and other entities such as financial intermediaries, financial institutions and banks.
